AN ODE TO TED CRUZ

He spews out lies, with accusing ways
That are so reminiscent, of the McCarthy days
He doesn't care, about the facts
He only cares, about who he attacks
He doesn't seek justice, or fighting foul play
He just likes us to hear, what he has to say
He will pander to all, of his gullible base
He'll shake all their hands, and lie to their face
Though Canadian born, he claims he's a Yank
But it's very apparent, he is only a skank
He has little integrity, and honor not a speck
But he will gladly accept, your donation check
Cruz will happily screw, his country and friends
For he thinks that the means, justify the ends
But his actions of late, have caused him to lose
The support of the ones, who once shared his views
They once thought him the answer, a GOP messiah
But now everyone sees him, as just a pariah

DOUCHEBAGS THAT NOBODY SHOULD ASSOCIATE THEMSELVES WITH

   Having oneself associated with certain people or groups speaks volumes of that persons character, intelligence, honesty, and integrity.

   It is with that in mind that I would suggest that if you have any honor and self respect that you would like to keep, you would be wise to distance yourself as far as possible from the following douchebags.

  

    Mitch Mcconnell, A sniveling, whining master at the art of lying and truth twisting, his pathetic acts of pandering to whoever is in charge shows what a hypocritical coward he really is. A true puke.

   Reince Priebus, the chairman of the GOP, is a shining example of his parties policies of deceit and fact manipulation, like a true republican, this goofy named A-hole can spew out lies en masse'.

   Perhaps the largest source of pure propaganda to exist since Nazi Germany, this absolutely vile and reprehensible arm of the GOP absurdly purports itself to be a "fair and balanced news organization", when in reality, their thinly veiled allegiance is to the conservatives and the elite. The spokesmen of Fox News, ie Limbaugh, Hannity, Oreilly, etc., are nothing more than self absorbed bigoted racists that enrich themselves while dividing this nation.

   Paul Ryan typifies todays Republican political candidate, he condemns every plan Obama wants to institute in rebuilding  America, yet the offers  he proposes as an alternative, are at best unrealistic, and usually non-existant. This jerks a true loser.

   Ted Cruz is such a douchebag, that even the other douchebags hate him. This conceited A-hole has devoted all his time trying to look important which he isn't.Though born in Canada, This un-American wants to be President in 2016, good luck butt head.

   Louie Gohmert is a racist, a bigot, and perhaps scariest of all, a complete and total lunatic, this idiot will just explode, and start ranting and raving about things that are so outrageous, that all you can do is shake your head and laugh, he is a buffoon.

   Darrell Issa  has spent all of his time, and tens of millions of taxpayer dollars, trying to scandalize Obama with anything he can think of, instead of doing the job he was sent there to do. He is among the sleaziest politicians out there. He is an arsonist who burned down his own business to collect the insurance. He easily qualifies for grand douchebag.

   Michele Bachmann, what can you say about this brainless idiot that hasn't already been said? She has the intelligence of Jello, the oratory skills of  W,  the charisma of rocks, and the self righteous attitude of a Spanish inquisitor. A waste of any air breathed.

   The Tea party is a group of bigoted losers that were formerly GOP bigots. Their entire mission is to block all progressive legislation, and if possible, to shut down the government entirely. Traitor is a fitting title for this collection of scum that tries to convince others that they want to protect America from the evil liberals. All of them are douchebags.

   And finally we have the G.O.P., though in years long past, this party was an honorable and integral part of the American political landscape, it has for some time now proven itself to be nothing more than a paid tool of the elite masters that it serves so well. Through decades of deceit and manipulation, the powers that be have created a political monster that willingly does its masters bidding, and it does so without regard to any collateral damages, up to and including America itself. The personification of evil has enveloped the GOP and its messengers of hate so much that they are more than willing to let this nation burn to the ground if they don't get their way, as they have been so often showing us.  They are the true terrorists we should be scared of.

WOMEN ARE THE ANSWER

    I have come to the conclusion that what America is in need of most is women.

   The fairer sex constitutes over half the population, yet there are only a small fraction of that now in the house and senate seats.


  Why is that?

   Not withstanding the idiot Tea party women, or the over the top lunatic women of the far right, women in general seem to be much more adept at getting things accomplished in politics.

   We have superb examples of dynamic, hard working, charismatic women in Washington politics right now, and a potential Presidential candidate in 2016 that scares the crap out of the GOP.

   Women in places of political authority appear to be much more empathetic to those truly in need in America, and as such are much more effective in overcoming the challenges they present.

   Again, discounting the ridiculous idiots that the GOP offers, the women in office today are far and away much more admirable examples of the type of elected officials Americans are starving for than their male counterparts.

   There are many noble and honorable men in Washington D.C., but there are also very many who seem to view their job as a game, a game where the loser is us, the citizens of the United States.

   The Republican party has alienated itself from virtually every group in America except older white males, their outdated and bigoted mindset doesn't appear to be changing anytime soon, and anything they offer in the form of female candidates, are at best nothing but ignorant morons.

   The progressive liberal cause has always been dedicated to electing the candidate who can best accomplish the tasks given them, be they man or woman, black, white, or brown.

   I believe we need to encourage more women that they can make a difference in America, that they do have the power to change things for the better.

   Washington D.C. is the pinnacle of the backroom deal, it has been that way from the beginning, but women have been excluded from that old boys type of network for most of our history, so the best chance we have in getting elected officials that possess the independence, honesty, and integrity we desire, is to elect more women to office.

WHY I AM A PROGRESSIVE LIBERAL DEMOCRAT

   As I write my various blog entries I am often confronted with a situation that arises. That is my intense dislike for certain people or events that those people perpetuate.

   I say "intense dislike" because the word "hate" is repulsive to me. It conjures up images of evil and darkness in my mind. Images I feel are unhealthy and unproductive.

   However, throughout the bible the word "hate" appears to describe many things, such as "hate the sin, not the sinner". And so I am in the process of accepting the word "hate" as long as it is used in the proper context.

   That being said I am now faced with the enormous challenge of separating my hatred of the GOP/Tea Party and its divisive, dishonest, intolerant, bigoted, racist, anti-American mission, from the individuals it has appointed to bring that mission to fruition.

   I have at this time "not" succeeded in doing so.

   When I see Darryl Issa manipulating testimony in an attempt to falsely incriminate the President in wrongdoing I get angry.

   When I watch Mitch Mcconnell flagrantly lie I get offended.

   When I see John Boehner refusing to bring proposed legislation for a vote I get hostile.

   When I see the Senate GOP filibustering all democratic actions and Presidential appointments I get outraged.

   When I see an entire nation held hostage by a small group of equally small minded traitors I get disgusted.


  When I see Tea party legislators creating as much turmoil as possible in order to shut down any progress that might be made I get furious.

   When I watch the GOP representatives in the House pandering to their base by voting to repeal Obamacare more than 50 separate times in 5 years I get overwhelmed.

   When I hear Republican spokesmen applauding the murder of an innocent black teenager I am dumbfounded.

   When I hear just about anything Rush Limbaugh, Bill O'reilly, Sean Hannity, or any of the cesspool of FOX NEWS puppets espouse I go over the edge.

   It's at these times that I find great difficulty in controlling my "intense dislike" for those who are touting the GOP/Tea party message.

   I view those individuals as a cancer. Spreading their hate, lies,  and fear mongering in an effort to divide Americans. To achieve an agenda that will put power in their hands. Power that they have proven time after time they will use and abuse to fulfill their self serving goals.

   Ironically I "hate" the fact that they are able to bring me to a state of "hatefulness". That strikes me as a success for them and success is the last thing I would want for their kind.

   Just as a cancer doesn't care about the eventual death of its victim these insidious traitors don't give a damn about an America for us all. They are trying to create an America for themselves and their bigoted brethren. An America that is owned and operated by only the wealthiest and most powerful among us. And as far as they're concerned the rest of us can just drop dead.

   That is why I am a progressive liberal Democrat. Not that we are perfect. We aren't, nobody is. But the term "progressive" means advancing, going forward, evolving. The term "liberal" means open minded, accepting of diversity, willing to listen to others opinions.

   This nation was conceived in the idea that it was an enlightened entity. That we would be a beacon of light to the rest of the world as to how people should live together. 

   Our forefathers wrote out a road map to guide us in our journey. A quest for unity between us all. An ever evolving, ever advancing journey toward a "more perfect union".

   
That is the agenda of a "progressive liberal democrat". To encourage each other that we are all equal in the eyes of God. That we can all share in the American dream. That when we help our fellow human being we help ourselves and our country at the same time.

   The GOP/Tea party touting themselves as patriotic Americans is the pinnacle of hypocrisy and arrogance. They represent exactly what our founding fathers fought against. Much as their prescribing
to being "Christians" is easily proven disingenuous by their very obvious hatred of others not like them. And their incredible comfort and expertise in lying and spreading false rumors.

   The deviant behavior the GOP/Tea party so willingly engages in  while touting their "Christian morals" should cause any true believer to easily see through their facade of moral righteousness and expose them as the bigoted hypocrites they really are.

   As of this moment the GOP/Tea party faithfuls are fighting for their lives. After being exposed as the frauds, liars, and traitors they really are they have nothing left to do except to try and make the American public believe that both parties are equally corrupt and cause mass apathy among the voters.

   The GOP/Tea Party have passed the point of no return. America has already shown them that their type of political terrorism will not be tolerated. And with each failed attempt to get their RWNJ candidates elected they will spiral further and further into oblivion. Which is exactly where they belong.


   As I gleefully watch the GOP/Tea party destroy itself  I will continue my efforts in separating the sin from the sinner. But  they sure aren't making it easy.

Our Heroes Come Through Again!

Yeeehaw!  Wahooo!  Yip yip yip yip yip!

   Let's hear it for those absolutely fantastic legislators we have in Washington D.C.! You remember, don't you? The ones that are representing us, the ones achieving great things in our name.

   Who would have thought that they would have the foresight to realize that over ninety percent of us were terribly mistaken about our desires on background checks for firearm purchases?

The U.S. Senate

   I just thank God almighty that these brave and fearless political soldiers have the keen understanding to see that what we all really wanted and dare I say, needed, was a continuation of the status quo, not more rules for us to follow.

   After all, why fix something that isn't broken?

   Yes, these national heroes have once again shown us that they possess the bravado needed to vacate the desires of those who elected them, and to replace it with the desires of those that have purchased them, for the good of our nation of course.

    Where would we be without the unending toil and sweat these benevolent Senators and Congressmen suffer through day after day, all in the name of protecting us, mostly from ourselves apparently.

    I believe that these selfless, honorable, and caring individuals should be recognized for the sheer courage it requires to publicly oppose anything that more than 9/10ths of everybody in the nation is in favor of.

   With only love and respect for us, these unselfish super-humans risked their career and integrity to insure that they would do whatever was needed to defeat this bill. Having only our best interest at heart, at a time that we thought that we knew what we wanted.  But, they wisely perceived our mistaken decision and without regard for their own safety, boldly voted down the legislation they knew was bad for us all.

   Though there were a few Democrats siding with them, the vast majority of glory and honor goes once again to the Republicans, who prove, over and over, that they know what's best for us, and they're not about to let anything stop them from demonstrating that belief on every possible occasion.

   We, as a nation, should show nothing but respect and admiration for the courageous display of patriotic behavior that these elected officials demonstrate daily. With such dedication on their part, I believe we should reward these champions of truth and justice for their actions.

    The banks and corporations have long recognized the value of these legislators, and so should we.

    So remember to say thank you to them on election day for making the world a safer place to live in.
